Santa and Snow

In early December my Moms of Multiples Club had their annual holiday party complete with a visit from Santa Claus.  Daddy couldn't come with us so Dee and Dude joined the girls and I for the party.  The kids had a fun time running around and playing in the gym (although Virginia spent most of the time in Dee's lap) before heading to the party room for pizza and Santa.  All of the kids got really excited when Santa arrived via fire truck!  They swarmed him when he walked into the room.  He and his fire fighter friends (elves?) brought fire hats for all of the kids, which they, of course, loved!
Paige and Virginia were so excited that Santa knew their names.  He even knew that Paige hadn't been feeling well the night before the party.  How cool is that?!  Virginia and Paige were happy to get their picture taken with the big guy this year.
And Mommy couldn't pass up the opportunity for a picture with Santa either.
Santa headed back to his fire truck.
The snow started fairly early this year.  This wasn't a very big snow that we had in December, but that didn't stop us from getting out and playing in it.
Virginia didn't hesitate to get down in the snow.

Silly little girls on their big snow balls.
Virginia being even sillier.

We figured out a great place to sled- the side of our house going down into our back yard or our neighbor's back yard.  It's the perfect sized hill for Paige and Virginia.

This was just the first snow of the winter.  We made sure to enjoy it not knowing that there would be a lot more snow to come...
