Halloween and Daddy's birthday

We didn't do anything too exciting for Ben's birthday this year.  We just went out to dinner, had some cake and opened some gifts at home.  He had a Lego birthday, according to the girls.  The girls and I got him a Lego AT-AT, Virginia got him an R2-D2 piggy bank and Paige got him a Star Wars t-shirt.

Just after Ben's birthday it was time to start getting ready for Halloween.

This year for Halloween we went to our friends, Mollie and Chris', house for dinner and then the four of us went Trick or Treating with Mollie and their two kids- Nevaeh (a mime) and Alex (Ironman).  We went to a lot of houses and I think we walked around for about 2 hours.  We all really enjoyed it.  And our girls were much more willing to go to houses being with Nevaeh than they've been in years past when it's just been the 4 of us.  It was great!

We had so much fun trick or treating with Mollie, Nevaeh and Alex- we might have to make it an annual event!
