We moved back inside to take the eggs out of the dye because we were all cold. We managed to finish up without making a big mess.

After the eggs all dried we all laid on the family room floor and put stickers on them. It was lots of fun for all of us.Saturday morning we went to the neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt. They do two egg hunts- one for 0-3 year olds and one for 4-7 year olds. It's basically just a bunch of plastic eggs thrown into a field and then all of the kids run in and pick up eggs. Not a whole lot of "hunting" involved, more just picking up. We got there about 15 minutes early, and it's a good thing we did because the place was packed. We did, though, manage to get a spot on the rope so the girls could get in right away when they were allowed. Paige and Virginia were nice and patient while they waited to be able to go get the eggs.

There were two Easter bunnies that came out to greet the kids (who knew there were 2 Easter Bunnies?!). Paige and Virginia, of course, wanted nothing to do with them- just wanted to watch.
And go! Virginia and Paige are in about the middle of the frame to the right of the tree, squatting down picking up eggs. Parents were encouraged to stay out of the egg hunt and let the kids get the eggs. See how well they all listened?

Paige and Virginia had a great time at the Easter Egg Hunt and we look forward to going again next year. The HOA has already announced that changes will be made to how it's done, so it'll be interesting to see how they change things up for next year.
