Mimi brought all of us gifts back from Israel. Paige and Virginia got books that are written in English and Arabic. I got a beautiful cashmere pashmina and some olive oil soap. Ben got a cool little sling shot.
The girls also got their very own nativity sets.
Then it was time for Mimi to open her birthday gifts. We got her two neat solar powered lanterns. The girls decided that one was for their house here and one is for the tree house. Paige and Virginia were happy to help Mimi unwrap her gifts.
Paige, Virginia and Mimi all loved the pug card.
The weekend after Mimi's birthday we went to Lincoln's 1st birthday party on Saturday and then celebrated Pops' birthday on Sunday. It was a party weekend! That Saturday we also visited the new library near our house. It's awesome and I imagine we'll be making a lot more trips there.
A cupcake picnic for Virginia, Beth, Kendall and Paige.
Brooks! I only got a couple of pictures of him in his carseat because pretty much the whole time we were all there I was holding Brooks so didn't get any better pictures of him. The only time he fussed the whole time was when Beth put him in his carseat. I think it's because he loved being held by me.Sunday we met Mimi and Pops for an early lunch at Ozzie's and then headed to their house for presents and cupcakes. Virginia and Paige were very happy to help Pops open his birthday gifts. And Pops was happy to have his grandgirls cuddling with him in his chair.

Helping Pops open his airplane lawn ornament we got him.
Looking at pictures from Uncle Lloyd with Pops.
Sunday was also Jefferson's 10th birthday. Our little buddy is getting old, but don't tell him that- he thinks he's still a puppy.
We had a great couple of weekends celebrating birthdays. We can't forget a couple of other birthdays that were thrown in during that week, even if we weren't off celebrating them. Our little friend Kendall turned 3 on March 4 and Aunt Grit celebrated her birthday on March 8. Happy birthday to everyone!
