Softball

This fall Paige and Virginia played their first season of softball.  We thought they were going to just be playing t-ball, but it actually ended up being a combination of A level softball (coach pitch) and t-ball, so they got practice hitting a pitcher along with learning the basics.  They had a great time and are looking forward to playing again in the spring.  Their coach, Kelly, was great and really worked hard with them on the basics.  They learned a lot and it was really fun to watch their progress.

At their games Coach Kelly threw each of the girls a few pitches at the beginning of each at bat.  If they didn't manage to get a hit then they were given the tee to hit off.  Paige and Virginia both had some pretty good hits off of Coach Kelly.

For snack for their last game Coach Kelly got the girls personalized softball cookies.  They loved them!

Coach Kelly also set up a photographer to come and take pictures of all of the girls before one of their games.  The pictures turned out great!

Then a week after the season ended we had a team pizza party where the girls all got to make their own pizzas.  Here they are all working on their pizzas.  It was a great night and the perfect way to end a great season!
