The day has finally arrived...the girls' due date! Like true Rowlands, the girls were early. It's kind of hard to believe the girls weren't supposed to be born until today, especially since they are doing so well. Paige and Virginia continue to sleep away most of the day (and night) and they are eating more and more. When they were in the NICU and they were learning how to eat, it was hard to get them to eat five or 10 mL of formula. Now they're downing 90 mL of breast milk on a regular basis. The frequency of the feedings hasn't slowed down and we're still getting up three or four times a night to feed, but we're more than happy to do it when it means they're eating as well as they are.
