The evening of their birthday we invited Ben's parents and brother over so his parents could give the girls their birthday presents.

Paige was not a fan of being in the stroller

That's another of my cousin's daughters (Sami) reading in the background.
Keats decided he wanted Virginia to nap with him.
That's Jennesa looking over the arm of the couch at them.

Keats fell asleep in my mom's arms and, my goodness, were my girls jealous. All they wanted to do was climb into Grandma's arms, so here is my mom with all three of her grandchildren.

Paige and Virginia discovered the stairs at my parents' house. It's amazing how good they were at climbing them when they're not allowed anywhere near the stairs at home.
Here are Keats, Grandma Cindy and Virginia on the stairs.
Here I am with Paige when she was climbing the stairs. She would go up a few and then take a break and the go up a few more. Here she's almost to the top.
We made it to the top!

My mom bought a little baby pool for Keats, Paige and Virginia, so on Monday when we were out there I set up the pool and put Paige and Virginia in it. Keats wasn't too interested, but Paige and Virginia liked splashing in it.
Todd and Sandra really wanted to get a picture of the 3 cousins all together, but Keats wasn't cooperating, so Sandra had to be in the picture, too.

We all had a great weekend celebrating the girls' birthday and visiting with family. I hate that we don't get to see most of these relatives too often. We're lucky to see Todd, Sandra and Keats once a year since they live all the way in Alaska. All of my other relatives that were here, with the exception of my Denick grandparents, live in Ohio.
I still can't really believe that my little girls are over a year old!
