Random Post...

It's been awhile since I've updated this. Things have just been a little too hectic for me to find time to get to the blog updates. But tonight Ben is out of town and the girls are in bed, so I figured I'd take a little time to do an update. There's not too much news as far as the girls are concerned, but I can at least share some pictures.

One day when my mom was watching the girls she made them an interesting lunch of linguine with spinach and sour cream. The girls really liked it and had fun eating it. But, my goodness, did they make a mess!

A couple of weeks ago Ben and I went to Charlottesville for the weekend. We went down for a wedding- one of Ben's fraternity brothers got married. We decided to make a weekend of it since that Sunday was our anniversary, and we stayed an extra night to celebrate our anniversary. We went to the rehearsal "tailgate party" on Friday night, the wedding on Saturday and then had dinner and spent the night at the Boars Head on Sunday. It was a great weekend. We had a great time hanging out with lots of old friends that we rarely see. We also saw our third movie in a theatre in the past year and a half- "The Hangover"- and, man, was it funny!

And this is Ben and I at the wedding. It was at a vineyard in Crozet, VA and was an absolutely beautiful setting.
Unfortunately last week Ben's beloved grandmother, Nana, passed away. We spent this past weekend making a quick trip to Tennessee for her funeral. At the funeral the pastor challenged us all to carry on Nana's legacy of faith, hope and love. Nana was an amazing person and she will definitely be missed.

Nana was such an amazing person she had four people named after her- three Virginia's and a Calsar. Calsar was Nana's middle name and is also Caleigh's middle name. Ben's mom and cousin Ali's middle names are both Virginia (or at least were before they got married), and of course there is our little Virginia Rose.

Here are the 4 generations of Virginias:
Nancy Virginia, Virginia (Nana), Virginia, and Aileen Virginia
We love you Nana! Thank you for leaving us such a wonderful legacy!
