For Mommy's birthday Dee, Dude, Mimi, Pops, Great-Grandma D and Rufus came to our house and we went out to lunch at a Japanese steakhouse. We started with Mommy and Dee opening birthday presents at our house.
Paige helped Dee look in the box to see what she got.
Virginia helped me open my gifts.
And then both Paige and Virginia helped me open my gifts while Dude and Rufus checked out the dishcloth that Mimi made me.

While we were getting our pictures taken my grandpa walked down to the sidewalk. Paige thought he was getting away so she reached for him from the porch while calling, "Rufus!"

And then we went out to lunch. Paige happily escorted Rufus into the restaurant.
And she insisted on getting to sit next to her Rufus.
Virginia was a little freaked out by the flames that the chefs made at the restaurant, so Dee held her away from the table during that part of the cooking.
We all had a great lunch- and ate way too much food. And then we came back to our house for birthday cake.
I made my wish and tried to blow out the candles.
I did it!
It was a great day. I really enjoyed my birthday and getting to spend it with our family.
