I'm really late making this post, but life's been a bit hectic lately.
Several weekends ago we went to Mimi and Pops' house for lunch on a Saturday to celebrate their birthday. Before lunch we spent some time playing in the basement. Virginia put together puzzles of monkeys.
And Paige put together puzzles of ducks.
Then we had a yummy lunch that Mimi and Pops made for us. And then it was time to open cards and presents before dessert. Paige and Virginia made big cards for Pops on Wednesday with Mimi, so they gave them to him on Saturday. He, of course, loved them.
And Paige and Virginia helped him open his other cards and gifts as well.
Then it was time for Mimi to open her cards. Virginia was happy to help as Paige watched from her rocking chair.
After gifts and cards it was time to dessert. We had banana pudding that Mimi made and yellow cake with chocolate icing that Mommy made. Everything was delicious and the day was a lot of fun!
