Family Reunion

Last weekend we went to Mimi and Pops' house in Berkeley Springs, WV for a family reunion with Ben's relatives from Tennessee.  Ben, the girls and I headed out there on Thursday morning, throwing in a stop at Dee and Dude's on the way.  We dropped Jefferson and Ashtree off with Dee and went out to lunch with her before heading on to West Virginia.

Uncle Lloyd, Great Uncle Bob, Great Aunt Beth, Ali, Elizabeth and Justin also arrived on Thursday afternoon.  Everyone was at Mimi and Pops' house for a pizza dinner.

Paige took some time out from playing to read "1000 Places to Go Before You Die"

And the girls and I had a little dance party before everyone else got there.
Pops found a bird nest outside and showed it to the girls.
Pizza time!  Paige and Virginia sat at the table with Elizabeth.
And they had lots of fun playing with her instead of eating their food.
After dinner the little kids disappeared inside and this is what I found them doing- jumping on Paige and Virginia's beds and off of the beds onto the couches on the floor.
Dee and Dude just got back from a trip to Alaska and while they were there they got some "Cam-Moose-Flage" pajamas for Paige and Virginia.
Friday morning Ben, Lloyd and I played a round of golf while Paige and Virginia played with Mimi and Pops.  After naps they decided they wanted to draw.
Friday night we all went to the house where the Stivers and Umbargers were staying and had yummy chicken tacos for dinner.  Rob, Leigh, Mason, Caleigh and Carson had gotten in to town on Friday so it was great to finally see them.  All of the cousins had a great time playing together.

Here are 5 of the 7 cousins that were there: Justin and Carson in the back and Caleigh, Virginia and Paige in the front.
Caleigh and Elizabeth decided to play school with the younger children.  When I went inside to see what they were doing it was "naptime."
Saturday involved a lot of napping.  Here are Paige and Virginia curled up on their couches with Uncle Lloyd.
Saturday night everyone came back to Mimi and Pops' house for dinner.  Here are all of the youngest generation: Back row: Caleigh, Elizabeth and Virginia, Middle Row: Paige and Carson, and Mason and Justin in the front.
Carson!  Look at those eyes.  So pretty.
Then after we had a yummy dinner we took group pictures.  Here is the eldest generation: Uncle Bob, Aunt Beth, Mimi and Pops.
The middle generation: Back Row: Lloyd, Rob, Tobi; Front Row: Ben, Leigh and Ali.  Missing from the picture is Ali's husband, John, who had to stay home and work.  We sure missed him.
And the youngest generation: Justin, Ali, Carson, Mason, Paige, Caleigh and Virginia.
After pictures it was time for popsicles.  The youngest generation decided to eat their popsicles while sitting on/at the table.
The weekend was a lot of fun.  It was so great to see Paige and Virginia playing with their Stivers and Umbarger cousins.  We can't wait until Thanksgiving when they'll all be together again!
