At the end of July we flew to Memphis, TN for a family reunion. This was Paige and Virginia's first time flying anywhere and they were super excited about it! They did great, even with a slight flight delay and a rush between flights in Atlanta.

When we got to Memphis, after only making our flight in Atlanta because it was delayed, Pops picked us up and we went and checked into our hotel. Then we had lunch in the hotel restaurant and went up to our room where the girls both took a nap while we waited for other family members to get to town. That night, after hanging out in the hotel lobby for a bit, we went out to dinner with Mimi, Pops, Uncle Bob, Aunt Beth, Ali, John, Elizabeth and Justin. We went to a place called Huey's where they actually encourage people to shoot toothpicks into the ceiling using straws. I didn't try it, but several of the people in our group put toothpicks in the ceiling. They may have also put a few onto the tables around us as well.

After a delicious dinner at Huey's we headed back to the hotel to get a good night's sleep in preparation for the busy Thursday we had planned.
