Thanksgiving at Daycare

The Tuesday before Thanksgiving they had a Thanksgiving lunch at the girls' daycare and parents were invited to come in for lunch.  Since I knew Ben wouldn't be able to come I invited my mom to come with me.  It was also her birthday, so it was perfect.  The girls were so excited to see Dee show up at their school!  They weren't so surprised about me showing up, but as soon as they saw me they went to go get their blankets and bears and jackets to go home.  It took some time for them to figure out that Dee and I were there for lunch and they weren't going home.

It was great, though.  We all sat around the table and ate turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, cinnamon apples and rolls for lunch.  There were a lot of parents there which was great to see.  It was sad when we had to leave, but the teachers told me later that the children recovered pretty quickly.

Paige spent part of the meal sitting on Dee's lap.  She was very happy to have her Grandma there with her.
