Cox Farms with Dee

The weekend before Halloween was a very busy one for us.  It started on Friday when after Dee went to take (and pass!) her pharmacy tech exam she came to our house and we went to Cox Farms.  Dee had never been to Cox Farms before so the girls and I had to show her around.  This was Paige and Virginia's 4th time there this year so they were ready to show her all that Cox Farms has to offer.

We started in the hay play area.  Virginia and Paige had a great time running around in there and jumping down the levels of hay.

The girls wanted to go on the rope swings, which I'd never seen them do before, so we headed over to those.  They didn't quite get the concept of keeping their feet up to swing, but they still enjoyed it.

After feeding the goats we went on the hay ride.  Then we went and got apples and a little apple cider before hanging out on tractors and then going down more slides.

We had another wonderful trip to Cox Farms and I'm so glad we got to share it with Dee.  Hopefully she'll be able to go with us again next year!
