Mommy's Birthday

For Mommy's birthday we spent a lazy day at home.  We had talked about going to the zoo, but Paige still had a bit of a fever, so we wanted to keep her home to rest.  We hung around the house, watched part of a movie, opened some presents and played.  Then Dee and Dude came over for dinner after going to the Redskins' game.  After dinner we had ice cream cake and opened a few more presents before it was time to go to bed.

Virginia and Paige helping me open their presents from them.
 Lego sets!
Working hard putting together one of my new Lego sets.
Opening gifts from Daddy- an RGIII t-shirt and new slippers!
Time for cake.  Virginia (and the Paige) helped me blow out the candles.
Opening gifts from Mimi and Pops.
And opening gifts from Dee and Dude- my new Kindle!
Thank you everyone for a wonderful birthday!  It may not have been anything exciting, but it was nice to have a calm, somewhat relaxing day at home.
