After we had our family pictures taken by Ashley at a park in Leesburg we decided to stop at Pumpkinville at the Leesburg Animal Park for awhile. None of us had ever been there, so it was fun to just check it out. It's similar to what they have at Cox Farms, but not as big and, honestly, not as good. We had a good time there, though, and I'm glad we went.
Virginia, Ben and Paige are pumpkins!
Paige is walking her goat, Virginia.
The one thing that Leesburg Animal Park has that Cox Farms doesn't have it lots of animals. Cox Farms pretty much just had goats, pigs, a couple of cows, a couple of alpacas and Chewy, the llama. Leesburg Animal Park had lots of neat animals, like this huge tort
The girls even got to be tortoises. Isn't Paige and adorable tortoise?
Virginia, too!
This black and white lemur was incredibly active. We stood and watched him (or her, I don't know) run and jump and play all around his (or her) enclosure. It was quite entertaining to watch. We went and checked out the other animals, too. Virginia petted these deer.
This miniature horse was already dressed up for Halloween as a "My Little Pony" with it's blue hair.
Leesburg Animal Park also has pony rides and camel rides. They weren't doing camel rides while we were there, but they were doing pony rides so Virginia and Paige got to go on pony rides. Here's Virginia enjoying hers.
Virginia loves her pony ride!

Paige!
There was also an area where you could walk in with a bunch of different types of animals. Paige wasn't sure if she wanted to be close to this calf or not.
This camel wasn't sure about everything going on around it so he just stood and watched, and posed for pictures.
The Pumkinville part of the park had inflatable slides, a hay ride, a few big slides, a playground, face painting and some other stuff. Paige loved the inflatable slides.
So did Virginia
The day before we went out to Leesburg we'd been at the beerfest in our neighborhood. At beerfest there was a face painter. Paige and Virginia really wanted to get their faces painted, so we waited in line for awhile. The line was taking forever, though, so we talked them into waiting until the next day for face painting. We were determined to find the face painters at Pumpkinville and we did- in the teepee, of all places. Paige and Virginia both chose toget princess crowns on their cheeks.
Happy Paige and Virginia with their apples and their painted faces!
