Dance Class and Beer Fest

We signed Paige and Virginia up for a dance class called "Fairytale Ballerinas."  It was on Friday mornings in our neighborhood and sounded perfect for them.  We went to the first class and it was great.  There were only 3 little girls in the class and the teacher seemed really good.  Paige did almost everything the teacher asked but Virginia just stood there and picked at her fingernails.  She promised me she'd dance the next week, though.  Unfortunately, the next class never came.  Their second class got cancelled because the teacher was sick.  The next week we got a call that the teacher had pulled a muscle.  Then this week I got a call that the class had been cancelled because the teacher tore her hamstring.  Ouch!  I had two sad little girls, but now we're looking for a new class for them.  Hopefully their next one will work out better.

This is what the majority of the class was like- Paige and the other little girl paying attention and Virginia messing with her nails.

The day after their first (and only) dance class was the beerfest in our neighborhood.  We were going back and forth about going until Ben got a text from Lauren that she, her husband and daughter were going to be there.  We don't get to see them nearly enough and we'd never met baby Ellie so we decided to go.  We had a good time trying some beers, hanging out with Mike, Lauren, Ellie, their friends and Steph, and going on a hayride.
