The weekend of Mother's Day we headed out to West Virginia for a night. The girls had a soccer game on Saturday and after the game we went out to lunch with Dee and Dude and then we packed up and headed to the Tree House. We had fun playing games, eating dinner and trying to build a fire for marshmallows. Of course, the rain decided to come in as soon as Ben started trying to build a fire, so marshmallows didn't happen that night. Instead we had some ice cream and hung out inside.

The next morning we got up and had breakfast and played some more card games. Then Ben walked down the hill to visit a friend and the girls and I went out for a walk. The girls had fun finding little mountain streams that were really running since we'd had rain the night before.

After our walks we went back and ate lunch before heading to the state park to play at the playground for a bit. The girls had a great time swinging and playing before it was time to us to head home. We needed to get home in time to relax a bit and get ready to go out to dinner with Mimi and Pops.

The weekend after Mother's Day Paige and Virginia were invited to their friend, Sanjana's birthday party at Claude Moore Rec Center. It was a pool party and they had so much fun playing in the pool with everyone! A few of their other friends from Minnieland were there and it was great! They played in the pool for almost 2 hours before we went to the party room for pizza and cake.
