A Day with Grandma and Grandpa

Today the girls spent the day with their Grandma and Grandpa while I went to a baby shower for my friend Beth and went for an 8 mile run on the GW Parkway. The shower was a lot of fun and the run made me really excited for my race in two weeks. My parents took the girls to Frying Pan Farm Park where they got to see a bunch of animals and even pet some. There were barrel races going on at the park, so they watched those for awhile and then walked through the stables and got to pet some horses. When I got home they were outside playing with their water table. It sounded like they had a wonderful day and had a lot of fun. The girls were definitely worn out tonight- they went to sleep with barely making a noise.

Oh, but Virginia climbed/fell out of her crib twice today, so we may have to figure out something to do to try to stop her from doing that...

I'm glad the girls had fun at Frying Pan Park since we may be going back there on Friday for a play date. And I love that we have a free county park like that near us to which we can take the girls.
