Luke's Birthday Party

The day before we left for the beach we went to Luke's first birthday party!  Luke daddy, Scott, is one of Ben's best friends, so we couldn't miss this party.  Paige and Virginia had a great time playing with Luke's toys- and with Luke.  And Luke seemed to have a really good time, too.

Luke was a big fan of the balloons.  And I enjoyed holding him for awhile.

Luke (well, really Tara) opening his birthday presents from us.  We got him some Mega-Blocks and a Darth Tater- Ben picked them out.

Time for birthday cake.  Luke wasn't quite sure what to do with it at first.

Then he decided to try the icing.

And then just dug right in!

Virginia enjoyed her cupcake- and turned her mouth blue.
